Does little Elijah Joseph look anything like Dad?
This beautiful grille got put to use right away after the Shivers so graciously left it here for us. Thank you Shiver Family!
Can you believe the beautiful pulpit build by Pastor Copeland at Grace Baptist Church in Alpine, TN? We thank the Lord also for Crossroads Baptist in Fredericksburg, VA for mailing it to us. This is much better than the school desk we were using!
My landlord was happy to allow us to hang this sign on the fence. This sign is clearly seen from the B13, a very prominent and well traveled road for the military and Germans alike.
The celebration of the begging of the church here in Lehrberg. We can see this event from our window. This takes place on the B13, right in front of our house. The men are riding stools. We asked why,and were told; "they are too drunk to ride horses." What this has to do with the beginning of the church, we are not sure. I have noticed the brewery is attached ot the church here in Lehrberg.
We went singing on the street in Bad Windsheim with the family. Between songs, we handed out tracts and witnessed to people. The folks were very friendly and received the tracts from our children without hesitation. There was no one to take a picture of us all together, so we only have a few. It is quite a struggle to keep the little ones from playing in the water fountain or eating gum off the sidewalk.
