Dear Church,
We are encouraged after receiving many kind and motivating cards, texts, e-mails, and some special gifts over the past month. I exclaimed to a man at church last week that we have the best and most faithful supporters I have ever seen and you help bear our burden for the lost!
One younger couple stopped coming to church altogether and but another couple began attending several weeks ago and brought family three weeks in a row after watching our services online. Pray we can be a blessing to the whole family and ask God to speak to their hearts through the preaching of the Word of God and ministry of Anchor Baptist Church.
A deaf couple began regularly attending church last summer but health has kept them home for a few weeks now. He is suffering from allergies or a sinus infection, or perhaps something else with similar symptoms. Please pray for their health, that God will heal and allow them to get back in church.
A young man visited church who recently joined the Army. He came to talk to me and we enjoyed a good conversation. I gave him one of the Bibles sent to us and answered his questions with the scriptures. I believe he will take that Bible to Korea as he serves his country and seeks to serve God with his life. Thank you for sending Bibles!
We are overjoyed to announce that Gabriel found the woman of his dreams and her name is Leah. With permission from her parents, Gabriel proposed marriage in December and they will be married very soon. The Lord has already used Leah to bring joy and laughter into our home and we all love her very much. Words are inadequate to express how wonderful this news is to our family as we welcome a wife, daughter, and sister into our family. Please keep Gabriel and Leah in prayer as they enter the sacred bond of marriage.
As we consider the end of 25’ and the beginning of 26’ I am amazed at the sustaining power of God and his provision. There is no earthly explanation for our continuation here but only the supernatural hand and power of the LORD. We know he hears your prayers and we are grateful for your continued encouragement, prayers, and support!
